This was our twenty-something cruise with Carnival. We like the price of the cruise and now what to expect.

This was the 3rd sailing of the new ship. Still smelled like new carpet. In all, it's a very ship. While I don't miss the the rack hold accents, this ship is pretty plain jane. Most public walls are laminated maple with iron railings. There is no atrium which is a huge loss. the main gathering at spot is now centered on the ground floor with 2 levels of shops abov.e. The changing tornado scree is centered in this area. Really miss the glass elevators.

Food was the same as recent menus. Prime rib was featured 3 nights since it was New Years cruise. Missing the filet mignon and chateau briand.

The staff was amazing as usual. I have always been impressed with Carnival's quality control. We had one incident with our meal and the wait staff went way beyond to make it right with sincerity.

The buffet lines have been the biggest improvement I noticed. Instead of 2 long lines along the sides, they have broken up the hot buffets into 4 smaller central buffets. The cereal and fruits are in other areas. It works well.

Very impressed with Heroes Sports Bar. Any appreciation for our military is very deserved in these politically divided times.

Playlist Productions have improved a lot of over the few years. Rock Revolution was amazing in talent, technology and production. Carnival has made up for the days of silly sailing shows with the addition of Epic Rock, America Rocks, and now Rock Revolution. Hope they continue this rock theme for a while since the rock generation is currently buying cruises (Gen X and Gen Z).

All in all the Carnival product remains solid but affordable. I do miss some of the upscale decor and finer dining but there has been some balance to the cutbacks.

Cabin Review

Plenty of room in 2 person cabin. They have removed one closet to put in individual a/c units. No more coffee Fridge and desk Vanity with a chair. Plain Caribbean palm leaf theme.
