This was my 14th cruise on Royal and my first time on the Quantum class. Overall, I was very happy with the ship. The staff was friendly and attentive. All the spaces were clean and looked modern and well-kept. The food was average to good and consistent with other Royal cruises. Royal has cut out a number of items over the years we really like. I really enjoyed this class ship. Lots of “inside” spaces to make up for bad weather or staying out of the heat. Shows were good to excellent except for the comedy juggler. We walked out on him. He was terrible. Act is 10 years old and tired. There were three ports on this trip 1) Port Canaveral, 2) Nassau and CocoCay. CocoCay lives up to its name. I thought it was great. Way better than Labadee. My kids are 14 and 17 and they had a good time. Lot of other kids to connect with. I liked Mitch the cruise director a lot. I took a spin class and thought the instructor was not good. Fitness room for spinning was very hot and instructor said the room has no air. Guest Services staff were helpful when needed. Diamond Lounge is nice because of the windows. Really liked the new cruise compass format. I would recommend the ship.
