My wife and I chose this cruise based on itinerary. Having 5 port of calls and sea days at the begining and last day were perfect. This was our 8th cruise and without a doubt Serenade of The Seas ranks number one as the best overall ship and ship experience we have been on. The ship is beautiful and in great condition. We were a little leary at first as we had never been on a ship this small. Yes it would have been nice to have had another outside pool and more lounge chairs but that this just added to the intimacy and beauty of the ship. The crew was amazing. We were always greeted by anybody that we came in contact with. Of course we met and would always talk to our room attendent but it was not uncommon to chat and joke with the neaby attendents as well. They would see us pass in the hall and come out of the room they were cleaning to speak and say hello.

Regarding other things people like to hear about. 1) Food--- We cant speak about the main dining room as we never ate there. The food in the Windjammer was very good. There was always a plentiful variety selections to choose from for a main course. For dinner and lunch they never had the same entree on the "carving board" twice except for prime rib. For those who wanted it they had a seperate areas for pasta, stir fry and a place to make your own pizza. The staff here was amazing. The lady at the carving board would see me and tell me to wait as she was bring out a fresh selection. The last night she came out and gave the wife and I a hug. Chops grill is worth the $25 cover. Get the filet and try the portobello mushroom. Seaview cafe is a nice place to eat. In the back of the ship with seating outside in the open or under cover.

2)Pool Area-- very crowded on sea days. Lots of saving chairs. Normal pool activities.

Cabin Review

Cabin Bal

Room seemed large with bed, couch and small table. Great view. Comfortable bedding. Great room attendant. Ample closet space. Quiet
