I chose this cruise for my boyfriend's 50th birthday which happens to be New year's Eve so we wanted to be on the ship for his birthday. This cruise did not disappoint. You are never more than 100 feet to a bar or restaurant. Yes, some of the lines were long, but the ship was at full capacity, so we were patient and while standing in line met some really great people. The entertainment was great, they kept you busy. The flying Scotsman was fantastic and definitely is worth seeing. The cruise director is simply amazing. The food was good, we chose to only eat in the dining room for elegant night and the food was good. Our number one was guys burger joint, no long lines and the burgers were aahmazing! But the most important person I have to brag on is JIWA our Steward. We never needed anything. He was exceptional and when we cruise again if I can I will request him again. He went above and beyond. I would not only highly recommend cruising carnival sunrise, our next cruise will be on the sunrise.

Cabin Review

Interior

Cabin was spacious, bathroom was roomy, plenty of closet space.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Lines moved fast, we had no trouble checking in, one person with us had crutches and they were very helpful and accommodating

Freeport

While we didn't do an excursion we did shop and went to Senor Frogs. Freeport was nice and clean and we enjoyed walking around.

Princess Cays

Absolutely beautiful ! We hung out on the beach, I did the dance competition.... They fed us lunch which was very nice.

Nassau

Nassau, was very busy but it was 3 other ships there with us. We got to catch the New year's day parade which was nice. We did a little shopping then got back on the ship.
