The Itinerary was appealing, we wanted to see the ABC islands, however we were short-changed. The ship was very clean and there were plenty of activities for passenger to keep occupied specially while at sea. The layout of our cabin did not make any sense, the was limited space to lay the food trays whenever we ordered room service. The room service provider had to use the sofa as a table. The food quality at the Brazilian restaurant and Shanghai Noodle lacked taste and appeal, it was average at best. The entertainment was salvaged by Burn and Priscilla Queen of the desert. The Latin entertainment needs to improve. We attempted to participate in other venues but they lacked energy and interest for our party.The entertainment lacked energy and fun, specially for seasoned travelers ! The servers were the highlight of the cruise as they continually made the passengers that we observed, feel special. The personnel was very efficient at re-directing the passengers away from the eating area when a passenger collapsed. No other information was given other than " please go around after we used the hand sanitizer.
Many passengers experience one of the worst port embarkation that we have experienced , delays without explanation, cold water or shade for those passengers having to wait for hours to board in the San Juan Heat. The captain made a token apology for the delay, a classier action would have been some type of physical action than just verbal excuses. Imagine how individuals new to cruising felt and how it might affect them when booking their next cruise.
