We found this cruise on the internet. Wanted something to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Special offer: Ocean view cabin for the price of an inside cabin. When we finally check, two days before we left, we found out that we were bumped up to a balcony. Went to guest services on the Splendor to ask who we should thank...... apparently the computer at Reservations. Over the moon! Every aspect of this cruise was perfect. From embarkation to debarkation. Yes if you are picky you might find fault, but my wife and I would recommend every person in NZ and Ausie (or anywhere) to get on the Splendor and visit New Caledonia. Isle of Pines was our favourite place to visit. The best experience was to travel on a ship for the first time. Most of the staff members were friendly and helpful. Great shows (Aerial) and the 70/80's show. We are just sad it's over.
