went on this cruise because AUS and NZ were on are bucket list. The cruise was a problem from the get go check in people were rude and we experience are first Princess take away no lanyard were provided, of course you can purchase them on board, other princess take aways we encountered, less selection of food items in Market place, items only available in one of the two dinning areas meaning you had to walk to great distances to get what you wanted. One area to get coffee or hot water every time you ask for a cup or tried to fill your own cup you were given a hard time. People could saving tables for hours and I mean hours with out princess staff saying a word. Princess Theater was way to small to support the number of passengers again people were allowed to save multiple rows Princess staff would not help and if fact were almost impossible to located. Spa staff was rude and found it difficult to look up from computers to talk to you. Spa was out of water more often than it wasn't. Again Princess staff would not and could not be found when people were saving spaces for extremely long periods. In the main dining areas steak and lobster were not served, you were handed a menu from which you purchase them starting at $46.00. Items on the provided menu were smaller portions and less choices. Princess Staff had zero ability to handle problems or issues the method for example if you had a problem in the spa was to refer you to front desk who would also refer you some place and where ever you were refereed there was a line and always you started at the end. On two occasions I told an out right lie when trying to solve an issue. this ship is the worst, the crew is incompetent and make everything you want to experience difficult.

Cabin Review

Balcony

cabin was over all very good, there were few plugs available. Our cabin steward was excellent and went the extra mile to be helpful and considerate.

Port Reviews

Sydney (Australia)

told I could not leave the ship due to customs rule of AU, later talked with Customs personnel and told this was not true.

Akaroa
