  3. MSC Armonia
Cruised with extended family. Our oceanview room (no balcony rooms for families of 4 on this ship!) was small but livable and clean and had decent storage. We set it up as 4 twins - bunkbed style - rather than a queen and twin bunks. This gave us much more floor space. Our steward Muhammad was so sweet and did a great job. This is definitely a European style cruise. That worked for us - we liked the food selections in dining room and buffet. However, the dinner at La Pergola took sooooo long every night. They seem to draw it out unnecessarily. We also hated the tiny water glasses - we were thirsty and wanted BIG ones! The pizza is great and we ate a lot of it. Shopping on board was quite good. We don't drink, but our family said bar service was frustrating. I think there was a language barrier. One night a passenger was shouting at his teenage daughter at length on the upper deck near the bar. What an awful man! We asked bartender to call security as it was very disturbing but he never called - we're quite sure he didn't understand us, although he was watching the altercation also. (The passengers are truly from all over and Americans are a minority, so we know staff have to speak many languages.) We were overall happy with our trip.

It was good but not great
