After 5 NCL cruises in the last 30 months, this was by far the worst NCL cruise I’ve taken. I’ve been trying to be loyal to NCL, but after this last voyage, I’m rethinking that.
The entire staff seemed to be unorganized. It appeared that no one working for NCL was very happy to be on this trip. Not a lot of greetings or smiles. Service was very poor. Wait times in restaurants were long. It appeared they were very understaffed. Food was mediocre at best. Certainly not up to normal NCL standards. I never knew who my steward was. Room makeup was always uncertain as to when it would be done. Supervisors berated staff in front of guests. This changed attitude of staff member waiting on me to be grouchy or uncaring.
I will say the staff in the spa was great. They always had a good attitude and were very helpful. NCL better fix the attitude of its staff (from the steward up to overall supervisors) or they have lost a loyal guest.
