We chose this cruise because had not yet tried Liberty. We also wanted to try an interior room for first time to see if my claustrophobia would tolerate a room with no window or balcony.
We did not care for the Promenade as it was too much like a shopping mall with merchandise on tables blocking walkway. Not shoppers.
We also did not learn where could find drinking water until the fifth day of this cruise. Finally learned water is available on the Promenade deck in the rear areas of the Cafe Latitudes and Sorrento's. It would have been nice to have known this on first day of the cruise.
The location of this room was where we called the 'cul-de-sac' because it was between the forward elevator banks and the ice rink, separated from ice rink which could be accessed only from aft. The rooms in this area had very recently been refurbished and were nicest interior rooms on the ship. All carpeting and furniture were new. All painted surfaces had been recently repainted. This was first time we had tried an interior room on any ship and we were quite pleased with it.
