I wanted to go to Santorini and Mykonos. The ship's engine apparently exploded the cruise prior (I know because another friend was on that cruise) to the point that people had to put on life vests and go to the deck. But they chose not to tell anyone until after we were underway that this meant we could not go to the two best ports. Instead we were on the ship for almost half of the time. And there was no entertainment for anyone under 70. The music was awful. Most of the ship smelled like smoke. The bars and other entertainment was also terrible. There was a magic show where the guy used CDs - who even owns a CD anymore?? The two half way decent ports were so short that there was barely time to see anything. The fix for this disaster was to give $200 in on board ship credit. Well for people who bought all inclusive packages, they were basically forced to buy the overpriced crap they were selling on the ship. They wouldn't let you use it towards the fees. It was awful. I would never go on a Norwegian Cruise again after that horrific experience. The only saving grace was that the bar staff was friendly and as accommodating as possible.

Dubrovnik

The best thing about this port was we went to a restaurant with really good food. Otherwise, we didn't have enough time to actually see anything.
