This was a Christmas cruise and did not disappoint. The ship is in fine condition, the gym is new and excellent, food was great, but most of all, the entertainment was the best we've ever seen on a cruise. Every single bit was outstanding - the magician, the comedian, the acrobat, and most of all, the dancers. They use a live band and these dancers are so good, so professional and so entertaining that I actually LIKED watching them ... and I'm not usually into watching such things. How they worked the magician into the "Elements" show was just superb, and he's just a guest entertainer. Wow! As for the food, we enjoyed Teppanyaki enough to do it twice but discovered that Cagney's is actually better food. The service on this cruise was also first rate; unfortunately we had to call in a complaint about our next-door neighbor smoking on the balcony after putting up with it for the first two days ... his smoke would blow right into our balcony and our room. NCL spoke to him twice before he finally quit ... or we just didn't notice it anymore.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin is a little tight and the TV is small, but the bed is comfortable and the bathroom is big enough to be comfortable, too. We enjoyed many hours on the balcony.

Port Reviews

Harvest Caye

I hate these "private islands." Unless you just want to sit on a chair on the beach, everything else costs extra. In this case, the beach sand is nice but the water was ugly and unappealing, and you're crowded in there with 2000 other people. Not relaxing with somebody else's feet just a few inches from your head and strangers about 2' away from you on both sides. Many may like this situation -- if you do, that's fine but not everybody should be "trapped" like this.
