We chose this cruse for a birthday celebration and we were already in Greece. We were looking forward to sailing under sail, even if briefly. They play loud music to accompany the raising of the sails, then take them down straight away. No lift on this older boat and a lot of stairs to get to dining room, etc. Our room steward was excellent. Food was very good and BBQ on deck lovely. Entertainment almost non-existent. Some very nice touches on this cruise, as in dinner at the Library of Celcus at Ephesus and they did this well. We have cruised often and prefer the smaller ships of Oceania and will probably return to this line. The itinerary was OK and, thankfully, there were no days at sea as there is not much to do. It was an expensive 7 days. The biggest drawback was our expectation of actually sailing. On December 30 we received a letter from Windstar asking for any changes to our information and to return by December 27. No return envelope or link to do this online.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Stateroom

the engine noise in our cabin was annoying. The size of the room was decent and kept immaculate.
