To start with the ship is not new.
It has had a refit before joining the Marella cruise line.
Tired, old, battered, broken but areas are clean, staff try really hard to make things look good.
Cabins are again tired, it’s difficult to see were the refit took place, our balcony cabin had wood holding the glass balcony together, broken air conditioning, which either blasted cold freezing air all the time or nothing at all, battered ceiling tiles, if you could call them tiles. Waited days for repairs, toilet didn’t work for several days
Poor communication, when the ship had noravirus, closed restaurants, no buffets, cancelled excursions because of noravirus, no compensation package.
Poor communication with guests, lack of support.
The whole cruise was a total disappointment, expected better,
However the crew did everything they could but were restricted by having to ask more senior management.
I really could not give a earring on this cruise.
Poor cabin, whole cabin tired, battered, refurbishment did not spend enough money on the cabins.
Broken air conditioning, toilet, no hot water in the shower, which was not fixed during a 2 week cruise
