We chose Allure because this was a family cruise with 6 adults and 3 children.
This was the 15th cruise for my wife and I. We have sailed with a variety of cruise lines, including Royal Caribbean.
Embarkation and disembarkation were smooth and worry free. Had expedited embarkation and it worked.
We had three outside cabins on the 11th deck. Room steward opened up the balcony dividers so we could get together on the balcony.
Rooms were comfortable and clean.
Room steward did a good job.
Entertainment was good - Mama Mia, Aqua show. We reserved seat prior to sailing. Saved us time waiting in line.
Had fixed seating in the MDR - American Grill - food was good, service was excellent.
My wife and I had the premium beverage package, this is a must have, Otherwise you have to pay for every drink, including bottled water.
Bar staff very good.
Several excursions cancelled due to the weather and our money was credited to our account.
Ship is quite dated, and will be going in for an update soon.
Mattress was lumpy.
Wi-Fi was OK, but had to log on every time you wanted to use Wi-Fi.
Windjammer buffet was just okay. Same food every day.
No snacks, sandwiches available in pool area. Had to go to the Windjammer to get any snacks.
Ver few waiters in the pool area. More convenient to go to the bar than wait for a waiter.
Nickel and dime you for everything.
Went on this cruise for our kids and grandchildren. Won't go on another Royal Caribbean cruise.
Had a canbaba at Water Thrill Park. Very convenient, great service, but not much sun.
Just went ashore and walked around. Typical port of call, busy.
Lots of shopping. Good eats at Bubba Gump, Senore Frogs and Margarittaville.
Daughter and granddaughter swam with the dolphins. They loved it. A snorkeling excursion cancelled due to the weather.View All 49 Dolphin Swim Reviews
