The cruise itself was nice. The staff were friendly. The food was ok. But from a customer service standpoint I wouldn’t sail with MSC again. We did not receive our etickets and it turns out our e-check in didn’t work but we’d have no way of knowing that. We called the day prior to get ticket confirmation. Then when we were checking in the woman had no information about our room or dining and said we’d have to go on board to find out. We walked all across the many halls to get to security to find out one of our two cards didn’t work. I had to walk all the way back to the original lady to get a new card. I had to get yet another card once on board because they hadn’t assigned us dining despite our confirmation. Our room wasn’t ready so we had to tote our bags around. We called five times to have our tv remote repaired (over several days). We tipped cash along the way to ensure we were tipping the right people but were forced to pay an additional $12.50 usd per person per day for tips. Disembarking was pure chaos every time. The line wound around the stair cases with no order. The ship was very crowded and they Nickel and dime you for everything.
Our room was quite nice. Our balcony overlooked the lifeboats but we could still see out.
