We had never traveled to South America and were interested in the itinerary. We were incredibly pleased with the combination of ports and the days at sea. We enjoyed the restful days at sea. It is perfect for those who do not need to be constantly entertained. However, the on-board entertainment was outstanding. We enjoyed lectures about the culture and nature of Chile and Argentina and attended nightly musical performances. The cruise director, Alejandro, was charming. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He is definitely the best cruise director I have ever met.

The service was phenomenal. Our state room attendant was helpful and kind. The wait staff were outstanding, though we were disappointed in the quality of the food in both the formal dining room and the buffet.

Overall, it was an amazing trip. We enjoyed the beauty of Patagonia and look forward to visiting the continent again.
