We are Celebrity fans and have been going on the Summit (Millennium Class ship) on a regular basis, maybe as many as three or four times. We booked this cruise, which went to the ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçau), and also Grand Cayman, on board the on last Summit cruise. We were afraid the larger Solstice Class ship might overwhelm us. This turned out not to be the case.
The ship only seemed crowded during embarkation and disembarkation, otherwise, except for the elevators, it seemed not crowded. We were in a Royal Suite, so we were pampered and spoiled, with all of the drinks, as well as specialty restaurants, included.
A hidden treasure on this ship is The Porch, a dining experience by the lawn club that is ultimately relaxing. I had some of the best shrimp ever on one of the luncheons there.
This suite grew on us, to the point we did not really want to leave. At first it seemed a bit compact, but soon we came to really appreciate the space it offered.
We had a superb butler (Walter) who took fantastic care of us and all of our needs. We were well stocked with liquor, to the point we had to take some home.
