Cabin: Balcony Stateroom

The stateroom was not a highlight of this trip. It was very creaky and did not provide three people with adequate room. However, the other amenities on board including the racetrack and bars were excellent. Overall, I would return to Norwegian but not to this particular ship. The entertainment options were fantastic, from the Wine Lovers the Musical show to the Elements and nightly country music from Top Shelf Country. I would say that these were my favorite aspects of the ship, which is different than cruises I’ve taken in the past in which the pool and hot tubs were always a highlight. The pool deck on this ship is a bit of a disappointment; there is one tiny adult pool and two hot tubs that are perpetually filled with children. The better hot tub is actually located at Spice H2O which is the well known party spot aboard most Norwegian cruises.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

The cabin was subpar and extremely creaky. Anytime the ship was moving, the room was filled with the sound of creaking, making it impossible to sleep through the night. It was also quite cramped for three people, let alone the four that it was supposed to.
