My parents came up with the idea of us spending the holidays together on this cruise. I had never been on one and had reservations about ever trying but I went with an open mind. I have to say all my assumptions and the stereotypes about cruises were justified and it was own worse than I expected.

The main issue with this ship is that there's just too many people on it. Almost 5,000! So the ship felt very crowded, and even though there is food available 24/7, every meal time felt like being in the midst of a starving mob. If you wanted a sit down dinner and didn't have reservations, you were looking at an hour wait. Also, imagine the time it takes to get 5000 people off a ship at the end. Their disembarking process took about 4 hours!

My other gripes: No designated adult pool area vs kids are. So everything was smashed together in the middle of the ship where you could never find a chair to sit down in peace, there were shrieking kids everywhere and the adult pool was more like a fish pond than a pool. Also the pool servers were rude and not very courteous or helpful.

Balcony Stateroom

Good size. Comfortable. Power sockets are too weak for someone to be able to use their own hair dryer without tripping a breaker.

Port Reviews

Cabo San Lucas

Tried to walk down harbor. Got heckled so much by locals trying to sell their excursions we got back on the ship.
