We are an older couple. We did not go on any of the ships' shore excursions. The ship is beautiful. There are many dining venues, swimming pools and a variety of entertainment. A great ship for families traveling with kids. There are special cabins for families and many activities of interest for both kids and adults. The assigned table restaurants' food was excellent and the service was great, but it felt rushed. They served a 4-5 course meal in an hour. In the middle of dinner they would stop everything to do the Macarena... No matter if you took early or late seating in the restaurant, you will not be on a time schedule which will allow you to see a whole show in the theater. Food in other venues was good also, but there seemed to be a problem every day with the ice machines.

The print on the paper deck plans and the daily activities list is so small that you need a magnifying glass. Be sure to get the app for the ship on your phone.

The room and the balcony were both extremely small for the money. There was plenty of closet room, storage under the bed for suitcases and a safe. All cabins doors look about the same except some are large than others. It's good to have some decorations to hang on yours to distinguish it from others.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Claustrophobic... had to move coffee table under the "desk" and tip the stool upside down on couch in order to have room to walk and not trip on something in the middle of the night. The balcony is scary. Sitting in the chairs facing out, your knees almost touch the partition if you are short like me. We turned the chairs sideways and it worked much better. Our first time on Carnival. Very disappointed on the size of the cabin for the amount of money that we paid. We kept hearing other people talking about how much less money that they paid. Otherwise, the cabin was very comfortable, storage was good and the finishes were nice.
