We sailed on 5/2/10, this was my husband's first cruise and my fifth. We had a wonderful time on the Legend. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Our cabin stewards were fantastic, the room was always kept clean. We had a minor problem, a drawer pull came off one of the cabinets and was fixed within the hour.
Our waiters in Truffles dining room were absolutely the best I have ever had, I can't say enough about Elvis and Ruben, they were always friendly and remembered what we drank during dinner without even telling them. The food was very good and had no problems with what we ordered. We were always served promptly with very little wait. We had breakfast and dinner in the main dining room every day and then lunch on the Lido deck which again we had very little wait. We tried several of the different locations for lunch.
Wee Jimmy the cruise director was very funny and kept the cruise interesting. The shows were good, two main productions, comedians, jugglers and a balancing act in between. They even had dance lessons available where my husband and I learned how to Cha Cha. We also attended a cooking demonstration in the Golden Fleece Steakhouse which was very good, the cooks made a appetizer, main course and desert, not only did they show you how to prepare the dish you also got a sample and the receipes for all of the dishes. They also answered any questions you may of had regarding the preparation of the dishes. We also took the galley tour which was very interesting. I learned for the first time that any leftover food is fed to the fish in the ocean, they grind the food and they distribute in the ocean.
