We have been cruising on HAL for 20 years but this was the worst cruise ever. The staff were overworked and except for the cabin boys mostly unfriendly. The Lido is terrible. You spend most of your time looking for butter etc. Half way through the cruise the lemonade was discontinued and the orange juice was watered down. The butter was permanmeently gone. Had to ask the staff to find some. The food at lunch time was always the same. I remember there used to be theme menues. What happened? We were put in a veranda The cabin with a lifeboat right it front of the door.Twice there were staff working on it in front of our window. Because the music was right under our cabin, sleeping before 12.30 was impossible.. We tried to get a different cabin but the staff told us we would have to wait. It never happened.21 days of the awful music every night. That's ok for people who like going on fun ships, but not HAL!! Other than that music there was no real entertainment.or fun games or sport games. We used to enjoy them. We are now 5 star guests and fot no invitation to a coctail party with the staff. Other guests had invitations. Are we not worthy guests??? All in all it was not the kind of cruise we want to have.I consider € 5000 too much for this cruise
