I have always wanted to go on the maiden voyage of one of Carnivals ships. Finally I just did it. I planned an overnight stay at the Queen Mary Hotel, which in its self is an an awesome experience. The convenience of walking off one ship(Hotel) right on board another cruise ship was fantastic.I came from Florida so I had to come a day early. I have now been in the Havana Cabana area on the Vista, Horizon and now the Panorama. I love these fantastic stateroom even though this time I had an inside on deck 6. The ship was flawless and I never saw one thing go wrong during the cruise. The staff was perfect, I love Ensenada Mexico. Our excursion was my best ever in 16 cruises. I did the Ultimate Local Food Teller led by Zoe, an awesome young lady that had our entire group feeling like we had been friends forever. Great lady and so much fun. We stopped at several food stops and several drink stops as well as a candy shop sampling at each stop. I had a Sea Urchin taco at one stop and did not like it one bit but Zoe told me I wouldn't, just wanted to try it. It didn't put a damper on my fun at all. One thing I liked a lot was the fact that nobody got drunk and ruined the tour like so many can.A great time thanks to Zoe and our fun group.

The Vista class ships have so much to do that it is hard to cover everything onboard. Just go and have a blast, that's what I did.

Cabin Review

Havana Interior

Quiet and somewhat secluded. As I opened the door to find my room in the Havana area, the door hid my room door. Most people coming back there probably never saw my door. As always it is nice to have the pools and Jacuzzi's to our selves.Great cabins and secluded areas. I prefer the Havana Cabana on deck 5.
