We wanted to cruise on a mega ship...we thought, yes, there’s a lot of people, but it’s a really big ship, and won’t feel crowded....big mistake! New York City at New Year’s Eve feels less crowded. After searching for a table at the breakfast buffet, bad seats at entertainment, not being able to find a lounger at the pool, long lines especially at the elevator, misinformed signage, and embarkation specials and raffle tickets being put in our room long after expiration, my partner finally said let’s pack and get off this thing. We, of course, are not doing that, and will try to make the most of it, but we will never do this again! The food is okay.....we’ve been saying that a lot, “it’s okay”. Jaimie Olivier’s was disappointing, but the main dining room was better than expected. Our stateroom is nice, although there is a little stain on the carpet. We bought “the key” which is supposed to get is the best seats at the shows. I guess we have a different opinion of what “the best” is.
Be warned!
Nice, not terribly roomy, but good storage space and nice balcony.
