My husband has to have an accessible ship and uses a motorized wheelchair. i am reviewing this because it is difficult to find reviews of the handicapped rooms and handicapped accessibility on ships. We had an inside room simply because all other classes were booked at the time we booked, so if you really have your heart set on a certain type of room and need an accessible room book early. Our inside room was very good and perhaps a little far away from the elevator but nice. Since we took a room overlooking the promenade, it could be a little noisy at times, going on late into the night. It did not bother us as we were not in our room that much, but if you want a quiet room do not book a promenade room. We found the ship and the room to be very accomodating. Our only problem was getting through the casino, since so many narrow spaces to get through on his wheelchair. The theatre and ice rink had accessible spaces for the handicapped. Many times other non handicapped people would take those spaces since they were at the back of theaters, and allowed for a "quick getaway" for those who wanted to leave the show early. I hope they will do something to make people aware of the fact that handicapped can not take the row seats and will save those for the wheelchair or handicapped equipped people. The restaurants and swimming areas and all other areas were completely accessible. We enjoyed our cruise and have been cruising quite a lot. We appreciated that they had lots of accessible cabins on this ship. Have been on some ships that only had 4 cabins on the entire ship for accessibles. Hope this helps. We loved this chip and must say it was one of the best accessibles we have been on.
