Too many awful experiences to list here, but I will start off with 2 things. It started right after leaving the port in L.A. (San Pedro) Ship security held my luggage (my wife received hers upon boarding) for 8 hours after boarding the ship for a portable hand held steamer for wrinkled clothes finally releasing to me after the luggage was opened examined and then expecting me to drag it across the ship through all the people. I know this sounds petty but it was our first cruise and was worried the luggage was lost after many calls to guest services only to get nowhere with them. Secondly the ships 1 of 2 engines broke down which forced the ship to a slow speed to the first port which they did not make in time which forced the cruise to reverse the ports after the ships engine was rebuilt. The whole back of the ship shook violently for 3 days at sea at slow speed and it also shook our 10 deck balcony room facing the back of the ship which lead to 3 sleepless nights in the room. And things only got worse after that so that's why I could be typing for hours about everything else that went wrong and bad with this cruise which was our first and LAST one we ever take. So if you like cramped spaces, lots of people and waiting in lots of lines to do things then cruising is for you, but not for us. Oh and by the way there is no sense in bringing a suit and tie to formal dining because NOBODY get dressed up, but we did and got glaring looks at every place we went. I have attached some pictures of one of the formal dining nights at sea.
Smelled of sewer gas from the bathroom the entire trip.
