Cruise Review: Brutally honest!

This is my fourth cruise so I truly can’t say I am an experienced cruiser. What I will do is compare my cruises and give you my honest opinion. I have cruise with two different cruise lines and so I will compare them as I have experienced. With these two you have good and bad and there’s always something to complain about. So for the Norwegian Dawn, our cruise was from Tampa going to Costa Maya, Belize, Roatan Honduras and Cozumel. I can tell you if I cruise again with Norwegian, the Dawn will NOT be the ship I use. This is not based on the fact that this is a refurbished ship and I should have listened to the reviews. This is based on my experience, now others have stated they have had nothing but a pleasant experience, I on the other hand can’t say this. So let me start.

Embarkation: This experience was a little crazy but It went quicker than what it looked. I will tell you, you need a lot of patience and a good attitude to get through this process. The negative is the bad attitude from the Guest services where you check in. Once I pointed this out, the attendant quickly changed his attitude. I will say this – I had to point out negative attitude with some of the guest services a couple of times. As we boarded there was no welcome crew. We got washy washy, a person with a spray bottle of hand sanitizer! No drinks where available no happy to see you so that we can take your money vibe at all.
