We flew down the day before and thankful that we did since we got 20" the next day. Stayed at the Hilton Blue Lagoon which was great. They offer shuttles to the cruise terminal for a price, however we took an Uber and arrived around 12:15 and it was packed with waits that had to be over an hour. I guess this was due to the bussing of people in from Miami. We had a priority boarding perk from AAA and went right to the front of the line with no wait!
We only booked an inside cabin on deck 9 and room 9170 which was perfect for our needs. We have been on this ship two years prior and it remains one of our favorite ships. The staff could not been any nicer and we met some wonderful people.
The "famous" Sue was the cruise director and I have to admit she was great, funny and boy can she sing. We took part in some games and activities throughout the 12 night cruise.
Very nice and quiet room.
We did a day pass with Sandcastles and it was very good.
Went to the Boatyard which was great as usual.
Went to a beach
