We’ve never been to any of the islands the West Indies cruise included, so because of that and the fact that we’d been on a Viking River cruise two years prior had us quite eager to try a Viking Ocean cruise. We were not disappointed. From flights, transfers, boarding, excursion itineraries and tickets, and settling into our room to the beautiful ship and it’s wonderful facilities, staff who would go to the ends of the earth to assist guests with any problem or concern (and always with a smile), a variety of restaurants where delicious food was always available, great entertainment (even current movies with popcorn), lounge areas with countless activities available at your leisure, to the wonderful excursions and on-shore opportunities. it was a dream come true and Viking did it with such class and style that we booked another cruise, The Viking Homelands, while we were still on board. The Homeland cruise has been on my bucket list for a while as my maternal Grandmother and her family immigrated from Bergen to Canada over a hundred years ago. We can hardly wait.

THANK YOU VIKING, EVERYONE for a trip of a lifetime.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda Stateroom

The cabin was spacious, always clean and tidy, refurbished bar frig and bathroom, and aesthetically appealing. We really enjoyed the veranda space as well as the sitting area. The rooms were very quiet. It felt like our “home away from home” the entire trip.
