Too big, too many people and badly organized. From the moment you have your cruise card in the terminal you are pestered to buy this package and that package. The ship is stunning but the staff need more training in all areas. The cabin was very nice with a balcony, when we arrived at 1pm there was no toilet rolls, no TV remote and a smell from the bathroom. They do not supply tissues or any other nice things in the toilet. The steward was useless, he asked at 6pm was everything ok. At 9pm we were still waiting for our suitcases. I happened to look along the corridor and seen a guy pushing his own case along into his room. We went along to the lift area and the cases were in metal cages with only 2 guys to sort them out. We managed to retrieve our cases, my god on holiday and having to look for your own cases. We missed the restaurant as we didn't feel it appropriate to go with shorts on. Ate in the cattle market (sorry the Marketplace) what a disaster this place is a complete rabble and impossible to hear yourself speak. Hard pushed to get a table. The meals in the Light house restaurant very mediocre, no glass of water here you have to buy a bottle. No tea or coffee after your meal. The week didn't get any better we will not cruise again with MSC they are very unorganized and some of the staff quite rude.
Very nicely decorated.
Not much too see here, all construction and a dirty souk
Great bus trip to see Doha, falcon hospital, a lovely souk and a BBQ on an old Dhow boat.
