We chose this cruise because hal hadn't disappointed on prior cruises, and because the ports were what we wanted to visit. unfortunately. Hal has changed their entertainment policy, eliminating the grand musicals of old, replacing them with, for example, a gymnast, a mini-harp player running around the audience, sitting in laps, an 8pm travel documentary, and a lame juggler. (the act was lame). worse than the entertainment, was listening to 20+ days of complaints from so many other guests. it was certainly n-o-t what we expected.
The cabin was very nice, service was good, food was so-so. there were a few enrichment activities, especially cooking demos.
I am mobility-challenged. i use a cane. we always choose "easy" shore excursions. their "easy" included many sets of stairs and a very rocky (boulders) beach climb. another tour was a 2 hour, in each direction, no-commentary, gas-fumed boat trip across a lake to have a terrible lunch at a hotel. what a waste of a day!!
It was an accessible cabin and very comfortable, including an accommodating bathroom.
