My first Review. Let me start off by saying we have cruised for more than 180 days so not newbies. We were at the point where we were ready to stop Cruising. Staff and Ships were always good, just tired of Companies themselves. Food was good, always is. Not perfect but with 3500 people on a Ship all eating within 3 hours very good.A big shout out to George and Cezar our waiters in Portafinos, always looking out for us. The Shows and Entertainment were fun, Ships Singers and Dancers always putting on a great show. Not everything was my cup of Tea but others matter as well. Life is not always about me.
We generally get an Inside. The Cabin layout was great. You can walk around the bed when set-up as a King, not so on a lot of lines. The Bathroom is also seperated from the room by the closet, so at night you don't flood the room with light (we normally use a tap light). Our steward always had our room made up even if we only left for a short time. Tiki Dave's Ukelele lessons were a blast, he brought about 70 for loaners. All staff were friendly and always smiling. Be that Person that says "You are doing a great job Thank You" the Genuine smiles say it all. I had the opportunity to meet so many great people, and am feeling Blessed. Ignore the Negative, Embrace the Positive. I you go hoping to have a great time you will. The Ship is in great shape.
We have been to Hawaii before and Rented Cars at each Island. Prices were down on average $30 a day for larger vehicles(6 person). We invited our tablemates to join us and they did. We are in our late 50's they were 70's and 80's and a good time was had by all.
