We were intrigued by the Christmas Markets and seeing multiple countries. This cruise did not dissapoint. Everything was top notch. The excursions were interesting, the lounges were cozy and provided games to onboard entertainment, food was good- lots of choices. We were kept informed of all activities on a daily basis. The staff was over the top friendly. The rooms were tidied twice a day. Everything went off without a hitch. We did miss the Christmas market in Nuremberg as it was actually opening the next day, but to make up for it, we were refunded our fee to Salzburg. Our cruise was a mix of ages, from older teens to seniors, and the ship was very accommodating. We would definitely like to do another cruise with Avalon at some point. We had a nice overview of all the cities we stopped in, and will definitely go back to some of the cities to spend more time.
