So glad we chose to do the partial Panama Canal cruise with the excursion through the rest of the locks. Much more to experience when transiting the locks in a smaller vessel. Food in the dining rooms was done very well with a good selection. We were very pleased with the maitre de at anytime dining, who after the first couple of nights realized we preferred a quiet (if possible) table for two. Servers were a bit rushed and mostly attentive with the exception of a couple of nights. Overall the cruise was nice, nothing exceptional. This was our first Princess cruise and was expecting a little more for our $$s. We did love the large open closet in the cabin which was well supplied with hangers and our room Steward did a great job. Unfortunately we had a terrible mattress. The center in had a large "hill" with troughs on either side.

Nice cabin, loved the large open closet with lots of hangers. Room steward do excellent job. Bathroom average, terrible mattress. Large "hill" in middle and "troughs" on either side.
