Allow me to preface this review with I've sailed on Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Carnival, Celebrity and Princess on over 50 cruises so far. We booked a balcony on deck 11, B729 which was quiet, but smaller than other cruise lines. This was for 2, 7 day back to back East/West Caribbean cruises. I was on this same ship 3 month ago for 19 days from St. Petersburg, Russia to New York with a balcony on deck 10 for that passage.

The bathroom is tiny and the days of a plastic shower curtain should be over by now. It's easy for the bottom to slip over the sill and the runoff will soak your bathmat quickly. The bed was fine, storage adequate, but the balconies are very shallow. Our room steward, Peter was helpful, pleasant and attentive. He got an additional tip after the first few days

I've always heard the food on Princess was above average, but that has not been my experience on this or other Princess ships. The buffet serves powdered scrambled eggs and uses the same batter in their omelets to order. They fry up dozens of eggs at once then store them under the line for who knows how long. I've walked through the buffet at 5 AM and seen trays of waffles, pancakes, etc. already out when the buffet doesn't open until 6:30AM. The buffet line food itself is barely warm, so unless you catch a new tray, everything will be fairly cold by the time you get to your seat. Nothing they serve will melt butter, for instance. I asked the guy toasting bread for a hot English muffin, and he just pointed to the tray, then reluctantly toasted one for me. There is also a great deal of congestion in the two aisles that are on each side of the buffet. They are barely wide enough for two people side by side, so a scooter or wheelchair is a major obstacle.
