We chose this trip because of the itinerary and past experiences with Viking River Cruises. The fact that Jupiter was a new ship was also one that intrigued us. We had never done a transatlantic in a small ship, but the ride was just as smooth as one of the larger ships. The food was the best food we have had on any cruise. We ate at the specialty Italian restaurant as well as the Chef's Table, but the food in the dining room was equally good. The Jupiter was immaculate in cleanliness and organization. We like the idea of not having a casino. There was plenty of common space to just lounge around, and the ship never felt crowded. The enrichment lectures were wonderful with a variety of topics. We went to three of the planetarium shows which were informative and entertaining. We highly recommend the Jupiter Viking especially for seniors.

Cabin Review

The cabin was designed nicely with lots of room for hanging clothing. They also have a neat bureau arrangement at the desk to hold makeup, jewelry, etc. which was a nice touch.
