This was our very first time with NCL. The ship is beautiful and big. Getting on and off the ship was a nightmare. No one on board knew where the line started. People were frustrated and it became a mad house. Besides the buffet we ate at O'sheehans and the food was awesome. The staff was great and your food came out fast. The buffet was average and breakfast was a mad house as well. I would suggest eating at Savor or taste for the early birds or even Margaritaville which offers complimentary breakfast although they don't have too many options. The fact that this ship offered multiple spots for complimentary dining was a plus. The shows were not too great. You must book these shows prior to boarding if you can or the very same day you get on the ship otherwise you will not have a chance to see anything. There was only 1 comedian that was hilarious which was Tony Daro from NY. We saw him a few times and did not get any repeats. The other comedians always repeated the same jokes in every show. The arcade was very expensive considering that we have cruised many times with other lines. In a very small "bowling area" it was $6 per person which was insane. We never got to do the escape room. The staff was very nice, however we did see something very strange. One of the girls from the spa went down to another guests cabin twice and was very sneaky about it and tried her best to make sure that no one saw her coming in and out of his cabin. I think that NCL needs to view their cameras to verify which employee did this which is not appropriate at all. The internet does not work when you get to Belize so expect not to have it for 8 or 9 hours. NCL did issue a refund for that day. Also NCL owns the island in Belize and they do not provide food or drinks like Coco Kay which is very disappointing because this is such a beautiful place and NCL spent a lot of money into this investment and we can't even get water? The small water bottle is $4 are you serious? I will try other NCL ships but not for this itinerary On top of NCL being one of the most expensive cruise lines I think that research needs to be done before booking with them.
