this cruise was a late booking to fit in a week before some time in Florida for these snowbirds. Bed was not as comfortable as Princess advertises. Cruise Director Dan Falconer from the UK was excellent, very witty, cute jokes every day, great job hosting Marriage Game had 3 sea days, so lots of activities Lots of movies under the stars and NFL, movies were shown next day in your stateroom Food was acceptable, but lacked variety in some dinner menus 2 formal nights were excellent, with surf turf, like steak and shrimp or lobster tail on last night, excellent french onion soup and escargots on these nights, why not every night, like Celebrity and Royal? all Princeses ships have the poor dining room design with the kitchens between dining rooms, requiring one to go up down floors. Also Horizon buffet design needs some work, very hard to find what you want, should use more islands instead of all the laneways between the main flow buffet food was good Princess pizza is the thin crust, new entries each day and the best at sea soft serve ice cream, Celebrity has real ice cream scooped. Some shows should use Vista lounge instead of much smaller Princess live Princess main theatres like on this ship are quite small compared to others, often no balcony. So to see shows you must arrive around 30 min prior. Lots of seat savers unfortunately. No drink holders in theatre. 3 production shows Sweet soul music, Born to Dance and Bravo. Bravo was outstanding with super singing. Dancers were awesome in born to dance. Excellent stage orchestra that played in atrium a few times, don't miss it, rock and roll and world mixed music. Comedian Robbie Printz did 2 shows, really funny. Beatlemaniacs were excellent, looked, sounded like Beatles, did a second show in the atrium ,don't miss it lots of other lounge singers/music. Michelle Joly, from Northern Alberta, was outstanding, interesting voice, has 4 of her own albums, she is going places The usual game shows. good movie selection Abba dance party Princess medallion, interesting but if you don't have a smart phone it will just open your door and be security in/out of ship. need to download 2 apps, they don't always work, but when they work, you can track locations, chat with another shipmate you add and view daily program, order drinks, play games and casino online. Did not see many people using it. A RFID device like Disney band, but smarter. A shame it can't be reprogrammed, new one every Princess cruise Internet, they say fastest at sea, not at all Royal is better

Regal was good but prefer Royal or Celebrity

Cabin Review

Balcony
Cabin BA
quite small compared to other cruiselines, recommend a deluxe balcony room
actual balcony just enough for 2 chairs and table, still nice to read out of, looked directly down to lifeboats
huge closet, not really necessary, ,but most cruisers, overpack, hence it was put in these ships. bathroom ok, shower good size. pump shampoo/conditioner and body wash, got bottle of body lotion.
bed was not that good, asked for topper and got it, but really needed to be replaced.
needed some pillows with more support, requested and delivered.
flat screen HD tv, was excellent, lots of content, on demand movies, travel shows, great entertainment if you wish to watch. most game shows are taped and shown on tv
about 10 live tv channels, got NFL games, MSNBC and Fox, BBC, 2 ESPN's
Overall quite acceptable.
Lots of Elite passengers on board, Princess have some very loyal cruisers
Future cruise booking, only had 1 manager, with no help and reduced hours, a serious marketing mistake from Princess corporate, even had the Dance Captain Manager, working part time to make up sign up sheet and get people in the future cruise booking
Riviera Deck Inside Cabins, Balcony Cabins, Suite Cabins
