Sail Date: Dec 2019
Cabin: Mini-Suite with Balcony
Traveled with children

My husband and I went on our first cruise with our children aged 7 and 5 and with my parents. We chose this cruise based on my parents recommendation as they are platinum Princess cruise members so they have enjoyed many Princess cruises across the world. We chose the Eastern Caribbean cruise as we wanted to escape the winter cold.

The check in and embarkation process was very easy and efficient.

We stayed in a mini suite located mid ship on deck 14 (Riveria). The mini suite cabin is perfect for a family of 4 but I’d stay in one as a couple too as you get more space. My husband and I had a very comfortable double bed and the kids slept on bunk beds that were folded away during the day by the cabin steward and turned into a sofa. We had two TVs in our suite, a long table/desk and the bathroom had a shower/bath which was very suitable for us and our kids as they enjoyed the bath.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

The mini suite cabin included a comfortable double bed, two bunk beds that were easily stowed away during the day by the cabin steward and turned into a sofa. The mini suite had two TV’s with cable channel options. There was a long open area near the bathroom to hang up your clothes. The cabin included a safe, several drawers, a long desk and chair and a small coffee table. The bathroom had a shower/bath and portable line if you needed to dry clothing and a hairdryer included in your room. The cabin also included a mini bar fridge and was stocked with water daily.

The balcony included a small table and two chairs. It was lovely to sit outside and watch the world go by and take photos as you were leaving and coming into a new port.

Our cabin steward (Grace) was so friendly, welcoming and efficient. She would clean and refresh our room daily and was always available to assist if we had any cabin concerns or questions.
