We were part of a group of dancers that got together for a country western dance cruise. We had a balcony room with a balcony that was covered in rust. When we stood outside for the mandatory safety drill, everything on the deck seemed to be covered in deep rust. Also crew started working at 7:30 AM with saws, hammers and grinders, etc. right below our room, waking us up! We were on VACATION. We wanted to sleep in on the sea day. Who in their right mind would schedule something like that so early!

When you went to the theater, the spotlights kept roaming the audience, blinding us. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to blind the audience but WE DON'T like it!! If the lights were overhead and shining down on us, it wouldn't be so bad. But they are from the stage and shining directly in our eyes.

Every activity from the ship was so loud, you could barely understand what was being said. The music being played late into the night in the Centrum kept us awake 3 floors and half the ship length distance. On the other hand, when our private group's country western band played, and if you stood 10 feet outside the door with the door open, you couldn't hear it any more. We had steel guitars, lead guitars, base guitars, drums, vocals, and yet we could hear it fine while we were dancing, we could talk to each other while we were dancing, and we did not disrupt anybody else's anything. Don't understand why the cruise ship thinks they have to bust everybody's eardrum for every activity they do. I told the lady that was doing the bingo one evening that her volume was so high I could not understand what she was saying. She said thank you very much, and the next day it was just as loud if not louder. We couldn't enjoy sunning ourselves by the pool because the music was so loud it was uncomfortable. We dance! We love music! Extremely loud music isn't music, it's noise. The cruise was blinding, deafening, an eyesore, and not very enchanting. That being said, the crew and staff were as good as it gets except for limiting the noise.

Cabin Review

Spacious Ocean View Balcony

Cabin was nice except the rusty balcony. There was plenty of closet space, drawers and shelves for storage. Would have liked some coat and/or hat racks on the wall...
