Sail Date: Dec 2019
Cabin:

Chose this ship as going to PNG with friends. Most staff were very friendly and helpful however difficult to understand at times - especially announcements from the bridge. Food was very average - some dishes inedible. Bland. The scrambled eggs were like slop. Fruit had bad spots. If you wanted better quality food you had to pay. Salt Grill restaurant was outstanding but had to pay. Breakfast at Waterfront is free and was better than pantry. Internet was overpriced. Originally advertised at $99 but when we boarded was $129. Average intermittent internet service even with premium package. App on board was clunky to use. Even though ship had obviously been refurbished in areas, furniture was impractical and obviously was done on the cheap. A lot of seats too low - especially in dining area. Adult only pool lounges uncomfortable and not adjustable. Seats in spa area near gym at a ridiculous angle. Would not go on this ship again. Just a means to reach the final destination. Have to say the coffee was the best part of the cruise. And some of the shows were very good.

Cabin Review

Old, very pokey and dated. Ripped furniture. Balcony was the best part

Port Reviews

Conflict Islands

My favourite port

Kiriwina (Papua New Guinea)

Pretty but dogged constantly by the native folk who are very poor and trying to make money
