A small group of friends in three cabins sailed on the Inaugural cruise. One had the Havana Cabana cabin on Deck 5, one had Oceanview on Deck 6, and one had interior on Deck 7. We all had a great time. There were a few kinks to be worked out. But overall, it was a fun weekend.
My cabin had YTD in the Vista dining room. The service the first night took 2 and half hours, but the second night was one hour. The last night we weren't that hungry and went to Lido Marketplace for Grilled Cheese sandwiches and salad. All of the food was well-prepared and delicious. We did Blue Iguana for one breakfast and Guy's Pig and Anchor for one lunch. Both were excellent.
We enjoyed the variety of activities and music aboard ship. The Electric Violins in the Atrium were a favorite. Also the Make it with Michaels craft. But we truly loved the two new shows Broadway Beats and Rock Revolution. Do not miss these!
This room was perfect for two people. Even though it has a pull-down for a third, I wouldn't recommend a third person. It was very quiet for a connecting cabin. You do need to put a card in the slot to operate the lights, but we found that any business card would work.
We took the shuttle from the port into town. Went shopping and had lunch then took the shuttle back. Easy peasy.
