The escape is a nice ship, but lacking in nightclub entertainment compared to other ships that have the "Bliss lounge" we missed the band and or DJ that played good dance music every night! Food was not very good. Variety was good, but steaks were tough, chicken seemed a little under done and the omelet stations were way to busy.
On a good note, most of the staff was amazing in every area, except when they didn't understand you and tried to answer you anyway! The crew in the buffet seemed to be right there whenever you needed something, which was great! The director didn't appear to try to get to know you personally, like most others did on the other NCL ships.
Our cabin steward was outstanding and kept our room very clean at all times. This was our 8th NCL cruise. We may try another line next time.
Cabin was an upgrade for us in the front of the ship and was a good size, seemed bigger than most other balcony rooms we've had. The only negative was the walking distance to the back of the ship, buffet etc.
