We had a Neptune suite and really enjoyed the Neptune Lounge and the conierge Leah was outstanding. We had most breakfats there, with occasional breakfasts in the Pinnacle. This enabled us to avoid crowrds for breakfast. Lunch was a bit crowded in the Lido, but the food was quite good. Embarkation was easy, and we self-disembarked, parking across the street at the Wyndham in San Diego. The Neptue suite was the largest we evrer had at sea, with enormous storage, a bose blue-tooth speaker for our iphone and a nice TV. The layout did not feel like a ship's cabin. The private deck was a bit windy. Service was excellent. The only bad meals we had were in the specialty restaurants. We had dreadul halibut in the Pinnacle, mine had 4 bones and I sent it back; it was also slathered in cream. They substitued a nice steak. There is no excuse for serving cold baked potatoes. The best part of the meal was the desert. The 'Italian' specialty restaurant is dreadful; a sectioned off area of the Lido. There was no sepoarate pasta course, and the dishes were very ordinary. and service was glacial. The food in the main dining rook was quite good. The Blues Club and the Lincoln Center groups were outstanding, and deserve a larger venue. The dance group in the main theater was good, blending dance and technology. All-in-all this cruise is great value for the money.
