We chose this as a 3 day Xmas cruise with friends and due to that we had a great time. A great time that had little to do with the ship and the facilities. Toilet blocked as we left the ship and the poor room steward had to clean up.....continuous noises from the toilet all the time in the cabin over the 3 days until it gave up. The staff are excellent and always had a smile ( God knows why), the ship is old dirty and rusty. Couldn't see out of the cabin window clearly and it hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. The "bathroom" was about the size of our shower and toilet at home. I went out into the cabin to dry myself and my wife had to wait for me to pass by before she could get into the bathroom. Struggled to find a seat in any bar for pre dinner drinks over the three days. The pool is a joke, couldn't get near it and those that did commented that it was 6 foot all the way through...no standing room at all. The running/walking track on the top deck goes right past the designated smokers area....nice design touch !! On the upside we found the food was good in The Pantry and reasonable in The Waterfront where the meals that came out didn't represent the description on the menu very well but were OK. Except for one steak that I had which was excellent !

Probably never do a P & O cruise again but life is full of learning curves.

Cabin Review

Bed was OK, the bathroom was so cramped I had to go outside in the room to dry myself. The window was dirty and the toilet blocked completely on the last day...so sorry Paul & Rico !!!
