I hate to say anything negative about RC but sometimes they do things that just don't make sense. Because of that I couldn't rate them 5 stars this time. But before I get into why, I have to point out a couple of things that are not the fault of RC.

Something I have commented on before. Fingers should never be used to pick up food. There are plenty of utensils for that. It's bad enough when some people refuse to wash their hands when they enter the buffet, but then to handle food with the same hands? YUCK! Let's not spread diseases.

Normally leaving the ship is easy and quick. Just wait on the ship for your number to be called, retrieve your bags and within a few minutes you're on your way home. This time however, something went wrong. Customs was late clearing the ship and the self carry off passengers began about 15 minutes late. It seemed like no big deal, until we heard that departing was now on hold do to customs. When passengers were allowed to continue to leave and our number was called it took almost 1 1/2 hours to disembark and clear customs. At one point there were only 3 custom officials. There was a fourth agent who seem oblivious to the long line waiting to clear customs and sat looking at his computer screen. One of the 3 agents even waked away for a time leaving just 2 to clear hundreds of passengers. I have never seen so few agents at work, nor a line that moved so slowly. No one seemed to know why, let's hope it is not the new normal. Again this is something RC has little to no control over.
