We absolutely loved the decor and the offerings of the ship. Everything was kept clean and it all looked fresh and new. Savor and Taste were the smaller of the 3 main dining rooms and they felt more intimate and very comfortable. The largest main dining room The Tropicana had live music and a dance floor which gave dining an entirely different feel. We loved the Tropicana but without reservations it had a long wait a few nights. On the first sea day which was formal night it was the busiest and had a 2 hour wait. We liked that the dress code was relaxed and it is advertised as optional but when you arrive there is a sign at the hostess desk with a dress code of no shorts, etc. So we were confused as to why Norwegian advertises the freestyle promotion but then has a dress code. I will say they did not enforce the dress code. There were plenty of shorts and casual wear even in the main dining room. The service was always outstanding. My husband wanted creme brulee and it hadn't been on the menu. When he asked if it was going to be served later in the week the staff went to work right away and the maitrede had not one but 2 special creme brulee desserts brought out to our table. Overall though, we were not impressed with the food in the main dining room or the buffet. It was just average. It was basically the same thing on the buffet everyday. Salads were always warm and wilted lettuce. There were several pay extra specialty dining options that we did not take part in. The activities were usually offered in the atrium but there are so few seats we could never see over those standing around. It would have been much better to have some of those events in the main theater. The casino was small and open to the atrium but the smoke was not a problem as we had been warned prior. Overall the cruise was lovely and I would recommend to families and young adults alike. The rock climbing wall, the putt putt, the ropes course the water slides were all amazing fun. The pool was a nice size and the hot tubs were well jetted. not much to say negative other than be sure to plan your events and dining before you go! Shows and dining were sold out on many occasions! . So while there were some issues, this ship was still very enjoyable and we would definitely recommend .

Cabin Review

Family Balcony Stateroom

The rooms were pretty but the balcony was super small and the way the closet was configured next to the couch and pullman was terribly awkward. We could barely get into the closet. Also there were no drawers in the room other than 2 that were under the couch and one was filled with extra bedding and the other was very difficult to pull out

Port Reviews

Harvest Caye

Beautiful but did not like that food was not included with the price like other private islands.
