Told by Iglu that this was a good cruise,
.No bus to pick us up at Nice, one arrived 2 hours late.
Boat drill held before we had got to our cabin.
Internet very slow and news from TV non existent after Suez.
Ship had coughs which required doctors treatment more than expected.
Disembarkation Durban like very stressful like rush hour in London, also at Durban airport long queue to book in for aircraft.
The crew had many different nationalities and many of them seemed to be on their first cruise and were undergoing training each day.The Captain was changed part way through the voyage as it was said he had finished his contract ?
When you asked questions there were no direct answers as though staff were told not to say anything and there was a feeling among some staff they may not be paid as many of the passengers had stopped their gratuities. This would be against IMO rules.
O K Slightly small and basic toiletries
Bus to pick us up from Nice 2hours late and Nice Airport information did not know where the bus went from.On our late arrival in Genoa the lifeboat drill held before we could get to our cabin. The TV and Laundry packages cheaper on board than that sold through their agents before boarding. The TV news stopped when passing through Suez and the internet when it worked was slow. The reception staff were not helpful and when stressed suddenly did not want to speak English. No information in cabins on what was happening and the ship seemed to be disorganised.Tours ashore were slow to disembark and when going ashore and returning the queues we long as only 1 X-ray machine was working [the ship had 2 machines]
2 weeks after returning home we are still getting over coughing and not response from our booking agent
