As we have experienced western Caribbean cruises in the past, We selected this cruise to compared the experience of the largest RCCI ship to those of the smaller ships.
Our cabin was on the sixth deck with the extended balcony very spacious, quiet and clean, with our room steward Mayra who was wonderful.
The people in the MDR were very considerate, polite friendly and professional and worked to please everyone. Many of the meals were sub par. Many times the dishes arrived at our table cool to the touch, both our chicken cordon blu was burnt, so we second it back and the second serving was perfect. The short ribs were cold and greasy with burnt edges, several people around us complained about the same issue with the short ribs, so we didn’t bothered to request a new dish of them. We miss the days when the ships had the ice sculpture.
Deck six with extended balcony very clean towels need some updating as several times received towels with loose (hanging down) binding along the edges.
Quiet section close to spa areaand those elevators. Long ealk to elevators for main dining room or buffet area.
